Arena is a skill-based memory game built for Pi Network. This policy explains the limited information Arena processes to provide sign-in, persistent gameplay, Daily Arena, asynchronous PvP, leaderboards and optional purchases.
When you authorize Pi sign-in, Arena receives a Pi access token in the app and sends that token to Arena's backend. The backend validates it with Pi Network's /v2/me endpoint. Arena then uses the app-specific Pi UID and, if authorized, your Pi username. The client-provided user object is not used as the server source of truth.
If you purchase Premium or a Daily Replay Ticket, Pi Network processes the blockchain payment. Arena's backend receives the Pi payment identifier and transaction identifier needed to approve, complete, verify, and recover that payment. Arena stores only the minimum entitlement, ticket balance and fulfillment records needed to deliver the purchase and prevent duplicate fulfillment. Arena does not request or store your wallet passphrase or private keys.
Arena stores Classic progress, Daily attempts, best results and completion streaks, temporary PvP matches, replay-ticket balances and leaderboard entries under your verified app-specific Pi UID. Leaderboards display your authorized Pi username with moves and gameplay points. Daily and PvP records are normally temporary; completion streaks, purchase and Premium records may be retained longer to preserve progress, provide fulfillment and handle disputes.
After completing a Daily challenge, you may choose to share a result and an Arena link through your device's sharing interface. Arena never sends a share automatically. The shared text contains gameplay results but does not add your Pi username unless you add it yourself. No sharing analytics are recorded by this release.
From this release, new analytics collection is limited to successful Pi sign-ins, distinct daily authenticated accounts, and accounts observed on an earlier UTC day. Daily counts and pseudonymous attendance identifiers are retained for approximately 400 days. Returning-user measurement is prospective where earlier records are unavailable; older aggregate history is preserved under its existing retention. No new gameplay, purchase, source or sharing analytics are recorded. Operational payment receipts, gameplay data and security controls remain separate.
Arena uses Pi Network for authentication and Pi payments, Vercel for application hosting, and a server-side Redis-compatible key-value database to persist purchases and gameplay records. These providers may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, request time and diagnostic logs to deliver and secure the service. Server credentials are not exposed to the browser.
Temporary Daily and PvP data normally expires automatically. Premium entitlement, associated payment fulfillment records and gameplay progress may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, restore purchased features and progress, prevent duplicate fulfillment, resolve payment issues, and comply with applicable obligations. You may contact Arena to request access, correction or deletion of personal gameplay/profile data where applicable. Some payment and anti-duplication records may need to be retained. Deleting the app or local browser data does not cancel or reverse a blockchain payment.

From the UTC week of October 12, 2026, Classic weekly top-three finishes award permanent cosmetic badges, including tied ranks. Your authorized username, weekly score and placement may appear in the Hall of Fame. Weekly award records and badge-eligible results are retained to preserve this history; these awards have no cash or Pi value and do not certify competitive fairness. Only original free completed Daily attempts count, once per UTC day. Weeks start Monday at 00:00 UTC. Three completions in one week unlock Ocean card style; five unlock Aurora. A missed day does not reset weekly progress. Unlocked styles are personal, permanent, nontransferable and cannot be sold or converted into Pi. Weekly podium medals are cosmetic. No monetary prizes or attendance Replay Ticket grants are offered. Purchased credits remain unchanged. Ranking order: completed days descending, moves ascending, score descending, final completion time ascending, then account identifier. Weekly attempt aggregates expire after 90 days; style ownership and podium records remain until deletion is requested.
